She is going with another baseball player,Owen Wilson, in his worst performance, trying to be a selfish, shallow jock.
Reese then meets Paul Rudd, who is in legal trouble over illegal deals by his firm. He also in unhappy. They are made for each other, but Reese doesn't know this and keeps running back to Wilson, even though she knows better.
Nicholson plays a non supporting supporting role and seems very tired, as do all the players. Reese and Rudd could have been on Valium or something the way they floated lethargically through their roles.
In the end you wonder why did you watch this unromantic turkey that displayed no chemistry at all between the players, except whatever chemicals they may have been taking to keep them from walking off the set.
